I am unbelievably happy that I was able to go see The David Crowder*Band twice last week! Both shows were incredible. The Dallas show was really great, but the Tulsa show blew the former out of the water. I have seen the DCB close to 25 times and that show in Tulsa on Friday ranks #1 on the list. It was at Cain’s Ballroom which created a really intimate atmosphere. Though people were dancing and having a great time (because really, who wouldn’t at a DCB show?), people were genuinely worshipping. It was a feeling of true community. I feel so blessed to have been there. I even got a shout-out from Dave while he was on stage! Good times.
Afterward when talking with some of the guys from the band, they all agreed that that night was the best night on tour so far. I highly encourage you to check out a show if you can. It’s money well spent, that’s for sure.
Aaaaand! At each show, Mark (guitarist) takes a photo of the crowd to post on their twitter. I knew this so I planned to stand on his side of the stage with my friends, Laura and Kadon. We had a pose all ready so that when he went to take the picture, we knew we would be easily spotted by anyone who saw the photo. Check it out:

yeah… we’re pretty proud of that. :)
I had some other things I wanted to blog about.. but I think I’ll wait and save it for another post. Until then…. here are a few more photos from the shows on Thursday and Friday.

go buy their new album (their website or itunes.. or amazon I think!) and buy tickets to a show. and then invite me and I’ll be sure to join you.
happy tuesday to all!
